Tunisia Reiterates Support for Palestinian Cause at Future Aviation Forum 2024

During her participation in the third edition of the Future Aviation Forum 2024, held in Riyadh from May 20 to 22, 2024, the Minister of Equipment and Housing, Sarra Zaâfrani Zanzri, also in charge of managing the Ministry of Transport, met with the Minister of Transport and Communications of the State of Palestine, Assem Salem.

She reaffirmed Tunisia's total support for the Palestinian cause, the proud Palestinian people, and their right to recover their land and establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

In the presence of the Tunisian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Hichem Fourati, and the Director General of Civil Aviation, Hédi Charfadi, Zanzri reiterated Tunisia's willingness to provide necessary support to the State of Palestine in terms of expertise and exchange.

This aims to contribute to the implementation of programs planned for the reconstruction of Palestine, the development of a clean and sustainable transportation system in its various forms, the erasure of the effects of aggression, and the realization of development and support for the Palestinian economy.

It is worth noting that the State of Palestine is already recognized by 143 UN member states, with Tunisia being one of the first countries to recognize it on November 15, 1988.
