Tunisie Profilé Aluminium (TPR) Reports Net Profit of 31,498 MTND
Tunisie Profilé Aluminium (TPR) has announced a net profit of 31,498 MTND for the 2024 fiscal year, compared to 29,629 MTND the previous year. The turnover has evolved by 2.4% to 210,145 MTND, a faster pace than operating expenses (+0.4% to 167,625 MTND). Meanwhile, there has been a significant improvement in the gross margin, which has increased by 12.5% to 72,061 MTND. The operating result has risen by 11.2% year-over-year to 42,782 MTND.
Financial charges have remained stable at 10,549 MTND. Bank interest has decreased by 9.4% to 7,506 MTND, and interest on bills of exchange has remained stable at 3,040 MTND. However, exchange gains have been almost divided by three, totaling 0.397 MTND. The company's debt stands at 84,613 MTND as of December 31, 2024. At the same time, investment products amount to 8,106 MTND, thanks to investments and financial assets of 79,111 MTND, in addition to liquidities of 9,072 MTND.
TPR has not yet revealed its resolution project for the next ordinary general meeting of shareholders, but the recorded results should enable it to offer better remuneration to its shareholders. For reference, last year, it distributed 0.400 TND per share. On the market, the title is one of the best performers, with a return of 49.29% since the beginning of the year. The first-quarter 2025 figures are already good, with a turnover increase of 7.0% to 47,730 MTND. The company had announced that the achievements were in line with the budget and that the decline in the local market was linked to the commercial activity slowdown, impacted by the construction and building sector shutdown during the month of Ramadan.
