Tunisie Profilés Aluminium (TPR) Reports Mixed Results for Q2 2024

During the second quarter of 2024, Tunisie Profilés Aluminium (TPR) recorded a turnover of 30.47 million dinars on the local market, representing a slight 2% increase compared to 29.95 million dinars during the same period in 2023. Export sales, on the other hand, experienced a 9% decline, falling from 22.50 million dinars to 20.59 million dinars.

Over the entire first half of 2024, TPR's cumulative turnover reached 95.60 million dinars, down 8% from 103.38 million dinars recorded at June 30, 2023. However, the company showed some resilience with a 2% increase, while export sales plummeted 21%, reaching 34.86 million dinars compared to 44.05 million dinars the previous year.

This decline is attributed to delays in order execution due to disruptions in raw material supplies from Gulf Arab countries.

Production also decreased by 5%, standing at 99.71 million dinars as of June 30, 2024, compared to 104.51 million dinars previously.

Despite these challenges, TPR invested in tangible and intangible assets worth 1.41 million dinars, a significant increase from the 582,969 dinars invested during the same period last year.

The company's debt decreased by 14%, falling from 81.37 million dinars to 69.71 million dinars as of June 30, 2024. In parallel, the value of investments increased by 7%, reaching 67.10 million dinars, compared to 62.50 million dinars at June 30, 2023.
