Tunisia's Central Bank Reports 7% Increase in Tourism Revenue
According to the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), cumulative tourism revenue has reached 7,050 million dinars, compared to 6,572.1 million dinars at the same time last year, representing a 7% increase.
Cumulative labor income has also seen a 4.6% increase, rising from 7,272.5 million dinars on December 10, 2023, to 7,607.8 million dinars currently.
The BCT also reports that external debt has reached 13,483.1 million dinars, compared to 11,069.4 million dinars at the same time last year.
Net foreign exchange assets have increased to 25,603.7 million dinars, equivalent to 115 days of imports, as of December 10, 2024, compared to 25,170 million dinars the previous year.
