Kuwaiti Investments in Tunisian Tourism Sector Set to Expand
A meeting was held yesterday, May 14, between the Minister of Tourism, Mohamed Moez Belhassine, and a delegation of investors from Kuwait's Al-Maousherji complex, led by Salah Mohamed Saqr Al-Maousherji, CEO of Arabi Holding Group.
The meeting provided a detailed presentation of Tunisia's investment climate, with a particular focus on the tourism sector and the incentives offered by the investment law. The most promising investment opportunities in this sector were discussed in detail.
The Minister highlighted the crucial importance of tourism as a pillar of the national economy, emphasizing its significant contribution to the gross domestic product, job creation, and foreign exchange earnings.
He also expressed the Ministry's willingness to facilitate the mission of Kuwaiti investors by providing necessary information and collaborating with relevant ministries and structures, as stated in an official communiqué.
Furthermore, he highlighted the role of major tourism projects realized with Kuwaiti investments, emphasizing their contribution to the development of the tourism sector in Tunisia.
