TotalEnergies Renews Partnership with CAF for Four More Years
Following the draw for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2025, Patrick Pouyanné, CEO of TotalEnergies, and Dr. Patrice Motsepe, President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), have agreed to extend their collaboration for an additional four-year period.
For the 2025-2028 period, TotalEnergies has committed to becoming the sponsor of 12 major CAF events and competitions, including:
- The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2024
- The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025
- The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda 2027
By extending this partnership, TotalEnergies is reinforcing its support for the development of football in Africa. TotalEnergies is honored to promote the growth of this beloved sport, which represents principles such as diversity, cohesion, and unity across Africa, a continent where the Company has played a historic role.

The initiation of the alliance between TotalEnergies and CAF, motivated by a love of football, dates back to 2016.
Between 2025 and 2028, TotalEnergies will sponsor the following events:

- The TotalEnergies CAF Women's Africa Cup of Nations
- The TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship
- The TotalEnergies CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations
- The TotalEnergies CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations
- The TotalEnergies CAF U-23 Africa Cup of Nations
- The TotalEnergies CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations
- The TotalEnergies CAF Champions League
- The TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup
- The TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup
