Crackdown on Immoral Content on Social Media
In response to the surge of content deemed contrary to moral values on social media platforms, particularly TikTok and Instagram, the Minister of Justice has ordered the Public Prosecutor to take action against these practices.
This decision comes after reports of videos and photos that, due to their content, are likely to undermine social values and negatively influence the behavior of young people, who are the primary users of these platforms.
In response, criminal investigations will be launched against individuals producing, publishing, or disseminating information, images, or videos with indecent content. The aim is to protect social media users from the impact of this content, which goes against moral and societal values.
This strengthening of legal measures is part of an effort to combat the spread of practices that affect public morals and prevent their repercussions on society, particularly on young generations who interact daily with these platforms.
