Government Head Receives Young Entrepreneurs Specializing in Sovereign Technologies

The Head of Government, Kamel Madouri, received Jihed Hannachi and Rabii Saidi, two young entrepreneurs specializing in the development of sovereign technologies related to data and artificial intelligence, at the Government Palace in Kasbah on Tuesday.

Inspired by the Government's Digitalization Efforts

The two entrepreneurs presented their project, inspired by the decisions made during the Ministerial Council meeting on November 30, 2024, which aimed to simplify and digitalize administrative procedures. The Council had invited Tunisian startups to submit innovative proposals for creating digital services for the administration.

Government Support for Innovative Initiatives

According to a statement from the Government Presidency, Kamel Madouri praised the initiative of the young entrepreneurs, highlighting their voluntary commitment to this approach, which aligns with the President of the Republic's vision that values the creativity and innovation of young Tunisians.

The Head of Government also emphasized the quality and promising potential of their project, both nationally and internationally, reaffirming the government's total support for initiatives that reinforce the principle of autonomy and enrich the economic and institutional landscape.

Digitalization of the Tunisian Administration

Madouri took the opportunity to thank the two entrepreneurs for their commitment to using their skills in sovereign technologies to contribute to the digitalization of the Tunisian administration.

From Academia to Entrepreneurship

The two young startup founders shared their academic and professional background, which began at the University of Tunis, before founding their company at the Jendouba technology hub. Despite their startup's international success, they chose to return to Tunisia to accelerate the development of services and bring them closer to citizens.

Concrete Proposals for Digitalization

During the meeting, they presented several concrete proposals, including a mapping of programs, databases, and software that enable real-time monitoring of projects, both centrally and regionally.
