Taysir Microfinance Publishes 2023 Financial Statements

As a player in the bond market, the IMF must comply with certain transparency and financial communication rules, including the disclosure of its accounts.

The figures are simply good. The net product of microfinance activities stood at 28,627, up 23.6% year-over-year. The interest margin rose to 26,681 Mt in 2023 compared to 21,681 Mt the previous year. Net commissions also progressed, increasing from 0,743 Mt in 2022 to 1,428 Mt a year later. Gains on short-term investment portfolio totaled 0,518 Mt.

Despite the improvement in activity, provisions and corrections on claims and liabilities, which represent the risk, remained steady at 1,757 Mt. The outstanding loans granted to customers totaled 129,279 Mt, excluding classified assets. This sustained pace of activity required the mobilization of more borrowing resources, reaching 111,231 Mt.

The operating result reached 15,307 Mt, an increase of 21.6% year-over-year. The net result stands at 12,667 Mt (10,323 Mt in 2022).

Those who recently participated in the bond issue can be reassured: the investment they made is in good hands.
