Taysir Microfinance Publishes 2023 Financial Statements

The company Taysir Microfinance has released its financial statements for the 2023 fiscal year. As a player in the bond market, the IMF must comply with certain transparency and financial communication rules, including the disclosure of its accounts.

The figures are simply good. The net product of microfinance activities stood at 28,627 Mtnd, up 23.6% year-over-year. The interest margin rose to 26,681 Mtnd in 2023, compared to 21,681 Mtnd the previous year. Net commissions also increased, from 0.743 Mtnd in 2022 to 1.428 Mtnd the following year. Short-term portfolio gains totaled 0.518 Mtnd.

Despite the improvement in activity, provisions and value adjustments for claims and liabilities, which represent the cost of risk, remained stable at 1,757 Mtnd. The outstanding balance of loans granted to customers totaled 129,279 Mtnd, excluding classified assets. This sustained pace of activity required the mobilization of additional borrowing resources, reaching 111,231 Mtnd.

Operating income reached 15,307 Mtnd, up 21.6% year-over-year. Net income stood at 12,667 Mtnd (10,323 Mtnd in 2022).
