TAV Tunisia Secures Key Regulatory Milestone with EU RA3 Certification

TAV Tunisia has reached a significant regulatory milestone. The operator of Enfidha-Hammamet and Monastir airports has successfully obtained the European RA3 (Regulated Agent Third Country) certification. This security clearance now exempts its cargo from additional inspections upon arrival in Europe. The certification is valid until summer 2029 and applies to handling and storage operations conducted at the Enfidha-Hammamet cargo platform.

Streamlining the Logistics Chain

In practical terms, Tunisian goods certified under this framework benefit from reduced transit times across the entire logistics chain—a substantial advantage for airlines and partner operators. Three carriers are already leveraging this new framework thanks to their ACC3 status: Tunisia’s Cargo Wings Express, and Poland’s SprintAir Cargo and Sprint Air. Additional airlines are currently undergoing validation, suggesting a rapid expansion of cargo services departing from Enfidha.
