Tunisian Ministry of Health Launches Anti-Smoking Campaign

The Tunisian Ministry of Health, in close collaboration with several other ministries and international partners, has launched a call for projects to create a visual warning campaign against smoking. This contest, which runs from February 15 to May 15, 2024, is a response to the persistent problem of smoking in Tunisia.

Smoking, recognized as a public health issue, continues to ravage Tunisian society. To counter this threat, the "Tobacco: It's Harmful" contest has been set up to encourage young creative talents to design striking images to be displayed on cigarette packs and other tobacco products.

The contest encourages the submission of innovative visuals that address various aspects of smoking, such as health risks, financial impact, and the dangers of passive smoking. Each entry must be accompanied by a punchy slogan in Arabic or French.

A committee of experts in health, graphic design, and communication will evaluate the entries based on originality, artistic quality, and message effectiveness.

The top 10 creations will be rewarded with certificates and trophies, and the selected visuals will be published and used in national awareness campaigns.

Participants have until May 15, 2024, to submit their creations to the following email address: dssb.dssb@rns.tn
