During their visit, they had the opportunity to discover two trigeneration centers for the Pâtes Warda subsidiary and a cogeneration center for the Minoteries des Centres et Sahel Réunies (MCSR) subsidiary. This project, integrated into the group's energy transition strategy, was marked by the inauguration of one of its components at the Sfax industrial pole by Fatma Thabet Chiboub, Minister of Industry, Mines, and Energy, on May 3.

The project has become a benchmark in the Tunisian energy sector.

A Significant Contribution to Energy Transition

He emphasized the significant contribution of the project to reducing energy costs and the group's ability to innovate and renew itself. He also praised the collaboration between the European Union, through its energy transition support project, the Tunisian State, and the Rose Blanche Group, which made this initiative possible.

Aligning with International Environmental Commitments

Mohamed Rekik, General Manager of the Rose Blanche Group, stressed that this project is part of a global vision to improve the group's energy efficiency while reducing greenhouse gas emissions, in line with the group's environmental commitments. The project aims to adapt the group's products to international standards in terms of green economy and carbon reduction, which will facilitate exports to international markets, including the European Union, by 2030.

National Energy Strategy Alignment

Rekik also recalled that this project is in line with the national energy strategy of the Ministry of Energy to reduce the country's energy deficit. The Rose Blanche Group thus reaffirms its commitment to sustainable development and Tunisia's energy transition. Rekik praised the partnership with the National Agency for Energy Management and the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy, highlighting the importance of these collaborations for the project's success.
