Rotary International President Stephanie Urchick to Visit Tunisia from January 19 to 23, 2025
Organized at the invitation of Khalid Kabbaj, Governor of District 9010 (comprising Rotary Clubs in Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, and Mauritania), the visit aims to strengthen Rotary's actions in favor of sustainable development, innovation, and community service.
During her visit to Tunisia, Stephanie Urchick will meet with:

- Presidents of Tunisian Rotary Clubs
- Veterans
- Members of the organizing committee
- Key donors to Rotary
These strategic meetings will reinforce ties with major Rotary actors, discuss ongoing initiatives, and explore new collaboration opportunities to support local projects.
The activities of various Tunisian Rotary Clubs will be presented during the visit, highlighting their local initiatives and impact on social, economic, and environmental development in the country.
A meeting at the Mediterranean School of Business is also scheduled, where Stephanie Urchick will exchange with interactants. This event will shed light on regional challenges and innovative initiatives, particularly in education, entrepreneurship, and social development.
The President will visit the Razi Hospital in Manouba, where the Rotary Club Tunis Sud has carried out a remarkable humanitarian action, demonstrating Rotary's commitment to supporting vulnerable populations, especially in mental health.
During her stay in Tunisia, the President of Rotary International will participate in a conference at the Palais Baron d'Erlanger on the theme: "Inclusive, Resilient, and Sustainable Water Strategy in Tunisia by 2050." Led by expert Yadh Zaher, this conference will highlight concrete solutions to major environmental challenges facing Tunisia, while exploring ways to strengthen resilience in the face of climate change.
On the cultural front, a visit to the Bardo Museum is scheduled, emphasizing the importance of preserving and promoting Tunisia's rich cultural heritage.
Tunisian startup DCX Tunisia will also present its innovative work, offering a virtual tour of UNESCO World Heritage sites.
The visit will conclude with a meeting with Tunisian media, scheduled for the morning of Wednesday, January 22. This press conference will allow the President to share her impressions of the actions of Tunisian Rotary Clubs, highlight the key moments of her visit, and discuss future prospects for international partnerships. This exchange will reinforce the visibility of local initiatives and the key role of media in raising awareness about social issues.
