Stefania Sonia Dallali Elected President of Tunisian Aerospace and Space Industries Group (Gitas)
On September 26, 2024, during the elective General Assembly of the Tunisian Aerospace and Space Industries Group (Gitas), Stefania Sonia Dallali, Country Director of the Mecachrome Group in Tunisia, was elected President.
She will be supported by Sonia Gharbi, Director of Human Resources, Communication, and Safety at Safran Tunisie, who was appointed Vice-President.
Stefania Sonia Dallali has extensive experience in the industry. She has held the position of Country Director for Mecachrome in Tunisia since April 2022. Prior to this, she managed the Mecachrome factory in Tunisia from 2018 to 2022, after serving as Human Resources Director at Mecahers Aerospace, another subsidiary of the group.
Under her presidency, Gitas will continue to promote Tunisian aerospace internationally, thereby enhancing the country's attractiveness to investors.
With over 17,000 jobs already created and a growing need for new talent, the sector is booming. Gitas will continue to support this dynamic, while adapting training programs to meet market needs and respecting social and environmental standards.
