Tunisian Environmental Impact Startups: Last Chance for Funding through GreenTECH Tunisie

Tunisian startups with an environmental impact have a final opportunity to secure funding through GreenTECH Tunisie, with application calls for VAIR (Venture Acceleration for Impact and Resilience) and MAIR (Market Access for Impact and Resilience) extended until March 31, 2026.

Initiative Overview

The initiative offers two mechanisms:

  • VAIR: For projects in the Proof of Concept phase, with funding of up to 75,000 dinars. This is a hybrid instrument combining 70% subsidy and 30% repayable advance, aimed at developing proof of concept (PoC). VAIR aims to support 32 startups in the ideation or technological validation phase (TRL 2-3).
  • MAIR: For startups with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) ready for commercialization, with funding of up to 150,000 dinars.

Funding and Support

The funding is equity-free and comes with structured support, national and international visibility, and access to markets and investors. Priority is given to projects led by women and located in inland regions.

  • Sustainable mobility
  • Circular economy
  • AgriTech
  • WaterTech
