Cinémana: 4th Edition of the Tunis Short Film Days


The Cinémana short film days are back for their 4th edition from September 2nd to 6th, 2024, at the Tunis Science City. This event is organized by the Alliance Française de Tunis, in partnership with the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), the Tunis Science City, and the Government of the Principality of Monaco.

Call to Young Tunisian Filmmakers


You have until July 20th, 2024, to submit your short films. This festival, launched on September 23rd, 2021, is aimed at young people aged 16 to 30 and offers a short film competition, screenings, workshops to learn about film professions, and meetings with professionals. It aims to open up career opportunities in cinema, especially for young people from culturally underserved regions.

Participation Conditions


  • The participation is open to individuals aged 16 to 30 residing in Tunisia.
  • The film must be less than 26 minutes long and be in French or subtitled in French.
  • The short films must have been made less than 2 years ago.
  • Short films already selected in previous editions will not be accepted.
  • Only one film per person or collective can be submitted.
  • The festival accepts all types of short films: fiction, 3D, documentary, animation, or experimental.
  • Collective works are accepted but must be submitted by a single representative of the collective.
