Fatma Midani, Founder of Soul & Planet, Wins Meninx Marketplace Award for Sustainability and Innovation
During the 10th edition of the Tunisian Women Entrepreneurs Awards (FET) held on Monday, February 24, 2025, Fatma Midani, founder of Soul & Planet, was awarded the Meninx Marketplace Prize for her commitment to sustainability and innovation. Soul & Planet, launched as a B2C marketplace, offers carefully selected products that have a positive impact on health and the environment.
"We analyze each component: ingredients, packaging, origin... We exclude endocrine disruptors, plastics, and harmful substances like silicones in cosmetics," explains Fatma Midani. This project aims to facilitate access to healthy and sustainable products while supporting producers in their visibility.
Beyond selling products, Soul & Planet integrates an ecological dimension through reforestation initiatives. In partnership with the Forestry Department, over 36,000 trees have been planted, contributing to carbon emission reduction. This approach is part of a broader vision to promote a healthy and environmentally respectful lifestyle.
Today, the company positions itself as a competitive local alternative to international players, with 95% of its revenue generated through B2B sales. The Meninx Marketplace Award given to Fatma Midani rewards not only the innovation of her project but also her commitment to sustainability and accessibility of healthy products.
"My dream is for a healthy lifestyle to become the norm, accessible to all, without being a luxury," concludes Fatma Midani. This distinction highlights the impact of Soul & Planet in promoting responsible consumption and its key role in Tunisia's circular economy.
