Sotipapier Announces Complete Production Halt at Belli Industrial Site
The Tunisian Industrial Company for Paper and Cardboard (Sotipapier) has announced a complete halt in production at its Belli industrial site due to a strike launched by a portion of its staff since September 22, 2025.
Reasons for the Halt
The management has explained that this decision was made for reasons of safety and team availability. All manufacturing activities have been suspended until negotiations are concluded. The company emphasizes that discussions are underway with union representatives, conducted "actively and in good faith," with the goal of reaching a rapid resolution.
Emergency Plan
To limit the consequences for clients and the supply chain, an emergency plan has been put in place. Management asserts that it is closely monitoring the evolution of the situation and evaluating its potential impact on fourth-quarter 2025 activity.
