Tunisian Sonia Kherigi Nasfi Wins Regional Prize at Northern Africa Startup Awards

Sonia Kherigi Nasfi, founder of Deaf Square, has distinguished herself by winning the regional prize at the 11th edition of the Northern Africa Startup Awards.

These awards are part of the Global Startup Awards Africa (GSA Africa), which celebrate and support innovative startups across the African continent. The competition highlights significant contributions from startups in various sectors such as agriculture, climate change, education, health, mobility, and logistics.

In 2024, the GSA Africa introduced new categories aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including GreenTech, HealthTech, Mobility and Logistics, AgriTech, FinTech, and Women in Tech. This year also marks the addition of the "Young Startup" category, dedicated to startups founded by entrepreneurs under the age of 26.

Sonia Kherigi Nasfi, a graduate of ISG Tunis, held the position of director at the Central Bank of Tunisia for over 26 years and transitioned into NLP coaching over 5 years ago.
