Coinnov Program Confirms New Stage of Deployment in Tunisia

The Coinnov program has confirmed a new stage of its deployment in Tunisia with the official launch of its fourth and final session. The announcement was made by Kais Jrad on the sidelines of the anniversary ceremony of Smart Capital, the structure in charge of managing the program.

Objective of the Coinnov Program

The Coinnov program is designed for Tunisian industrial SMEs and is part of a logic of support for collaborative innovation. The program encourages companies to develop research and development projects in partnership with laboratories, startups, clusters, or other actors in the industrial ecosystem. The goal is to transform innovative ideas into concrete solutions capable of strengthening the competitiveness of the national productive fabric.

Financial Support

The program offers financial support in the form of grants that can reach around 30,000 euros per project, or approximately 100,000 dinars. Since its launch, several dozen projects have already been supported, with particular attention paid to initiatives related to digitalization and ecological transition, which represent a significant part of the supported portfolio.

Technical Accompaniment

In addition to financing, Coinnov also emphasizes the technical accompaniment of project leaders. The program is co-managed by Smart Capital, with the support of the Tunisia Technoparks Association (ATT). It is part of the PACE-AMIT program, attached to the "Qualitative Growth for Employment (CQE)" project, funded by the European Union and the BMZ, and implemented by the GIZ in partnership with the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy.

Final Session and Objectives

With this final session, the program aims to finalize its objective of structuring a portfolio of around 40 innovative projects, thus consolidating its role as a lever for industrial innovation in Tunisia. The Coinnov program has already made significant progress in supporting Tunisian industrial SMEs, and this final session is expected to further strengthen its impact on the country's industrial ecosystem.
