Tunisia Participates in the 10th International Health and Medical Equipment Exhibition in Dakar (SISDAK)

Tunisia is taking part in the 10th edition of the International Health and Medical Equipment Exhibition in Dakar (SISDAK), held concurrently with the 5th Health Exhibition of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states, from April 15 to 19, 2025, in the Senegalese capital.

The Tunisian delegation, comprising around 20 healthcare professionals from various sectors (private clinics, medical transfer services, medical tourism agencies), is represented under the banner of the Tunisian Export Promotion Center (CEPEX).

An 18-square-meter stand has been set up to serve as a showcase for Tunisian products and services, as well as a B2B meeting point with Senegalese sector stakeholders.

This participation is the result of coordination between the Tunisian Embassy in Dakar, the CEPEX regional office, the National Syndicate Chamber of Export Advisors (CSNCE), and the Tunisian Federation of Travel Agencies (FTAV).

Under the theme "Health, a Vector of Economic Development for OIC Countries," the 2025 edition brings together over 400 exhibitors, as well as decision-makers, professionals, researchers, and investors in the sector.

With a strong dependence on pharmaceutical imports (over 90%, amounting to approximately €308 million in 2023) and a rapidly developing healthcare system (over 40 public hospitals and 120 private clinics), the Senegalese market presents a strategic opportunity for Tunisian businesses, particularly in areas such as HealthTech, medical equipment, medical evacuation, and training.
