Aswan Bootcamp Series Launched to Support Entrepreneurs in Upper Egypt and Accelerate Regional Tech Growth
The Aswan Bootcamp series has been launched to support entrepreneurs in Upper Egypt and accelerate the region's technological growth. Inaugurated by Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, at the Creativa Innovation Hub in Aswan, the initiative is supported by ITIDA, Plug and Play Egypt, and USAID.
This program aims to strengthen economic development by training local startups in key skills such as financial management, product-market fit, scalability, and business development. It aspires to transform Aswan's entrepreneurial ecosystem into a future regional tech hub.
The five bootcamps, each lasting eight days, include workshops and mentoring sessions targeting sectors such as agri-tech, health-tech, e-commerce, gov-tech, and tourism. Over 60 startups will benefit from Plug and Play's global network to improve their growth and governance.
After the bootcamps, participants will continue to receive mentoring and access to Cairo's entrepreneurial network, paving the way for essential collaborations and resources.
