Spectacular Launch of New Accord and ZR-V
Honda Tunisie celebrated the launch of its new models at the Japanese Motors Company (JMC) headquarters, the official concessionaire in Tunisia. This event marked a new era for the brand, highlighting innovation and performance.
Under the direction of Sofiene Ajengui, General Manager, and Skander Baccouri, Marketing Director of Honda Tunisie, guests were given an exclusive preview of the new Honda Accord and Honda ZR-V. The presentation showcased Honda's forward-thinking vision and commitment to the Tunisian market.
Among the honored guests were two prominent members of Honda Motor Company's regional headquarters, Raj Johal, General Manager – Automobile, Motorcycle & Power Product. Training/PR & Comms, and Cesar Alzona, Assistant Manager – Business Development and Marketing. Sales Training.
Presentation of the Honda Accord
The new Honda Accord is equipped with a 1.5L 4-cylinder inline engine, producing 182 HP DIN and 233 Nm of torque. With its CVT automatic transmission, this model promises a smooth and high-performance driving experience. In terms of comfort, the Accord offers three driving modes (Normal, Sport, Economic), remote start, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, and perforated leather interior. Technology is at the heart of this model, featuring a 12.3-inch touchscreen, 12 BOSE speakers, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, and the Honda Sensing active safety and driver assistance suite.
Presentation of the Honda ZR-V SUV
The Honda ZR-V SUV, also equipped with a 1.5L 4-cylinder inline engine, offers 182 HP DIN and 240 Nm of torque. This compact SUV stands out with its generous dimensions (4,569 mm in length and 1,840 mm in width) and its extendable trunk volume of 380 to 1300 liters. In terms of safety, the ZR-V is equipped with 8 airbags, a blind-spot monitoring system (Lane Watch TM), and numerous advanced Honda Sensing technologies to ensure a safe and enjoyable drive.
Honda's Commitment to Road Safety in Tunisia
Honda Tunisie reaffirmed its commitment to road safety during the event. A delegation of high-ranking officials from the National Guard, led by Colonel Houssem Eddine Jebabli, Spokesperson for the National Guard Directorate, were honored guests for their efforts and distinctions during the recent summer seasons.
Colonel Jebabli delivered a speech followed by an award ceremony. In the same context, Mourad Jouini, a road safety expert with several decades of commitment to this noble cause, joined the guests and emphasized the importance of road safety and active prevention among Tunisian motorists, particularly at the beginning of the vacation season.
Honda Racing & Sport Automobile in Tunisia
The final part of the event was dedicated to automobile sports, marked by the surprise presentation of the iconic Honda Civic Type R, which represents the quintessence of performance, safety, and technological advancement for the Japanese brand.
An award ceremony honored pilot Walid Maazouz, under the auspices of the Tunisian Automobile Federation, in the presence of its President, Hichem Ameur, guest of honor for the evening's closing.
Honda Tunisie took the opportunity to announce to guests and media that the 8-time champion of the Tunisia Touring Car Championship on Honda Civic has been chosen as the brand's ambassador for sportiness.
