France Ready to Strengthen Cooperation with Tunisia in Transport Sector
During a working meeting last Friday with Minister of Transport Rachid Amri, French Ambassador to Tunisia Anne Gueguen emphasized that France is prepared to reinforce its cooperation with Tunisia in the transport sector.
The meeting, which took place in the presence of Christophe Cottet, the new director of the French Development Agency (AFD) office in Tunis, focused on the prospects for cooperation in the transport sector.
Amri praised the level of cooperation between the two countries, particularly through projects implemented in partnership with the AFD, including those dedicated to urban, rail, and maritime transport.
He called for joint efforts to be intensified to improve the framework of this bilateral cooperation and to strengthen collaboration with a view to developing the transport system and consolidating links between Tunisia and France.
