Tunisian Agri-Food Industry Portal Launched
The Tunisian agri-food industry now has a new tool to track the evolution of their sector and access centralized information. A Tunisian agri-food portal has been launched to strengthen professionals' access to strategic data and facilitate their decision-making.
Background
This platform was developed by the General Directorate of Food Industries (DGIA) of the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy, in collaboration with the Technical Center for Agri-Food (CTAA) and the Bizerte Competitiveness Cluster. It received support from the Qualitative Growth for Employment (CQE) project, backed by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
Objectives
The goal is to group useful information for industry professionals on a single platform. Companies will thus have easier access to strategic monitoring, sectoral data, and technical and regulatory information that can support their decisions and improve their competitiveness.
Collaborative Space
Beyond simply providing information, the portal's designers want to create a collaborative space where different actors in the sector can share their expertise and report their needs. The portal is based on shared governance between several public institutions to ensure the reliability and updating of the proposed content.
Launch and Features
The official launch of the platform took place on July 23 during a workshop that brought together representatives of public institutions, professional organizations, and business leaders. This meeting presented the portal's features and collected operators' expectations in a logic of continuous improvement.

Access to the platform is free. Professionals can create an account and consult the various services offered via the portal iaa.tn.
Context
This initiative is part of the Qualitative Growth for Employment (CQE) project, implemented by GIZ Tunisia in partnership with the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy. The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union in Tunisia.
