Tunisian Engineering Company SCET-Tunisie Shines in Africa with Successful Airport Infrastructure Development in the Democratic Republic of Congo
The Tunisian engineering company SCET-Tunisie has once again established itself as a leading player on the African continent by participating in the development of aeronautical infrastructure in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
In fact, the company completed the construction of the aeronautical pavement of Kisangani/Bangoka International Airport in October 2024, including the runway, taxiway, and lighting system.
From April 2022 to October 2024, SCET-Tunisie oversaw every stage of this large-scale project, from studies and design to project management and technical assistance.
Its involvement in this high-profile project, funded by the Congolese state and the African Development Bank (AfDB), highlights the importance of African expertise in transforming regional infrastructure.
By strengthening airport facilities, SCET-Tunisie is contributing to the improvement of air connectivity in the DRC, thereby promoting economic development in the Kisangani region.
