Sanimed's Global Revenue Reaches 22.2 Million Dinars, Down 8% Compared to 2024
Sanimed's global revenue stood at 22.2 million dinars as of September 30, 2025, marking an 8% decline compared to the same period in 2024. This decrease is primarily attributed to a decline in local market sales, while exports showed a slight increase.
Local Market Sales Decline by 15%
According to the company's published data, local revenue reached 12.05 million dinars, down from 14.2 million a year earlier, representing a 15% decrease. This underperformance is explained by insufficient production, a consequence of the ongoing financial restructuring program, which is currently in its final phase. This situation reduced the availability of finished products, limiting the company's ability to fully meet demand in the Tunisian market.
Export Revenue Shows Slight Growth
In contrast, export revenue maintained a slightly positive trend, with a 2% growth, reaching 10.18 million dinars compared to 9.93 million in the same period of 2024. However, Sanimed noted that the third quarter was marked by delays in supplies, which slowed down the volume of exports.
Industrial Production Declines by 16%
Quarterly production declined by 16%, reaching 6.18 million dinars, down from 7.37 million in 2024. This decline resulted primarily from supply delays that impacted the months of August and September. Over a nine-month period, total production reached 20.37 million dinars, representing a nearly stable evolution compared to 2024 (-1%).
Investment and Financial Commitments
In terms of investments, Sanimed indicated that it had mobilized 173,000 dinars as of September 30, 2025. Bank commitments, on the other hand, stood at 112.9 million dinars, a slight increase of 4% compared to December 2024 (108.6 million dinars). With the completion of its financial restructuring plan, the company asserts that it will gradually be able to honor its commitments and regain a more sustained growth dynamic.
