Ministry of State Domains and Land Affairs to Intensify Vehicle Control Operations during Summer Season
The Ministry of State Domains and Land Affairs plans to intensify control operations on administrative vehicles during the summer season to combat abuse and ensure optimal use of these service vehicles. This was announced by Minister Wajdi Hedhili today during a dialogue session of the National Council of Regions and Districts.
Efforts to Preserve State Assets
The Minister highlighted the efforts made by his department to preserve state assets, particularly service vehicles, by generalizing the GPS system. This system enables the optimization of vehicle management and better tracking of fuel consumption. He also emphasized the reinforcement of control teams on the ground, in coordination with regional authorities.
New Control Teams Established
In this context, three new control teams have been created in the governorates of Sidi Bouzid, Kasserine, and Kairouan, and have been operational since May 2025, following decisions by the Ministry.
Control Operations Results
The Minister specified that during the first five months of 2025, 288 control operations were conducted, covering 8,410 administrative vehicles, resulting in 187 reports.
Comparison with Previous Year
For comparison, in 2024, 23,900 vehicles were inspected, resulting in 784 infractions, as part of 875 control operations.
