Index Committee Announces Changes to Tunindex and Sectoral Indices
The Index Committee met on December 30, 2024, and decided to update the samples of the Tunindex and sectoral indices as follows, effective January 2, 2025:
- Additions:
- Cellcom will be added to the Tunindex and the sectoral indices "5000 - Consumer Services" and "5300 - Distribution".
- Removals:
- Telnet Holding will be removed from the Tunindex and the sectoral indices "9000 - Technology" and "9500 - Technology".
- STIP will be removed from the Tunindex and the sectoral indices "3000 - Consumer Goods" and "3300 - Automobiles and Equipment".
- Les Ciments de Bizerte will be removed from the Tunindex and the sectoral indices "2000 - Industries" and "2300 - Building and Construction Materials".
- Somocer will be removed from the Tunindex and the sectoral indices "2000 - Industries" and "2300 - Building and Construction Materials".
- Sotemail will be removed from the Tunindex and the sectoral indices "2000 - Industries" and "2300 - Building and Construction Materials".
In parallel, the sample of the Tunindex 20, as well as the float and capping factors, will also be revised. As of January 2, 2025, the values Assurances Maghrebia Vie, BH Bank, and Smart Tunisie will be removed from the index, and the values ATL, STB, and Unimed will be added.
