Meeting at the Ministry of Tourism to Discuss Alternative Tourism Accommodation Framework

A working meeting was held at the Ministry of Tourism to review the results of the joint committee's work on revising the legal framework for alternative tourism accommodation. During this session, the final version of the project specifications was presented, aiming to regulate various types of accommodation, including tourist camps, rural houses, temporary lodgings, and family accommodations.

It is worth noting that the projects for these documents were developed in collaboration with several key stakeholders in the sector, in order to respond to market needs and strengthen the attractiveness of alternative tourism in Tunisia. The Minister of Tourism highlighted the importance of involving professionals in this process, emphasizing that their contribution is essential to ensure a suitable and investment-friendly framework.

An information and consultation day will be organized in the coming days to allow sector stakeholders and administration officials to familiarize themselves with these new standards before their official adoption.
