Financial Restructuring Support Line for SMEs: 4 Industrial Projects Approved
The steering committee of the financial restructuring support line for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) approved, on Friday, January 10, four files benefiting industrial companies, including three operating in the food industry, construction materials, and vegetable oils sectors, mobilizing a total envelope of around 4 million Tunisian dinars (Mtnd).
According to a statement issued by the Industry Department, the state has mobilized, as of December 31, 2024, 328 Mtnd under this line, including:
- 277 Mtnd reserved for rescheduling loans
- 50 Mtnd for contributory loans
- 1.2 Mtnd for financial and economic diagnostics
- Operations accompanying these measures
Additionally, an envelope of 137,000 Tunisian dinars (Tnd) has been dedicated to financing subsidies for monitoring the implementation of restructuring programs.
It is worth noting that the General Directorate of SME Promotion examined, until the end of December 2024, 450 requests for interventions under this support line, aiming to help economic enterprises overcome their financial difficulties.
