Ministry of Finance Introduces Dedicated Platform for Fiscal Cash Registers
The Ministry of Finance has announced the implementation of a dedicated platform for fiscal cash registers for establishments in the food and beverage industry, in accordance with the ministerial decree of October 14, 2025. This measure applies to tourist-classified restaurants, as well as second and third-category tea salons and cafes.
Legal entities operating these activities must now comply with the new standards by joining the platform. The membership process is entirely remote and takes place in two steps: contacting one of the accredited cash register providers - whose list is available on the Jibaya.tn website - to update, modify, or acquire a compliant cash register, and then finalizing the registration procedures on the platform in coordination with the chosen provider.
