Algeria Undertakes Major Reform by Digitizing Human Resource Management Processes

According to the Algerian Press Service (APS) and a statement from the Ministry of the Interior, Local Authorities, and Land Planning, Algeria has embarked on a significant reform by digitizing its human resource management processes.

This progress is a result of the instructions of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, aimed at accelerating the digitization of activities in various sectors.

Several information systems and digital applications have been put in place, thereby completing the digitization of all administrative documents related to human resource management at both central and local levels.

According to the same source, this initiative has enabled the digitization of 25,792,410 documents, including senior executives, civil servants, contractual agents in service, and retirees.

It is worth noting that these documents are distributed across 735,926 electronic files, each containing 35 digitized documents.

As part of this approach, a decision-support system for human resource management, powered by the Human Resource Information System (SIRH), has also been developed.

Using Power BI technology, this system allows for meticulous and real-time analysis of data, providing a forward-looking vision for decisions related to human resource management.
