Tunis Stock Exchange Approves New Market Segmentation for 2026
The Tunis Stock Exchange has approved the redistribution of listed companies into different market segments and groups for the year 2026.
Changes to Market Segments
As of Friday, January 2, 2026, the following companies will be transferred:
- Air Liquide Tunisie, Sanimed, and Siame will move from segment "B" to segment "S".
- Les Ciments de Bizerte will leave segment "S" and join segment "B", and will also be transferred from group 99 (fixing) to group 12 (fixing).
- Tunisie Leasing & Factoring will leave segment "B" and join segment "A".
Changes to Trading Groups
The following companies will be transferred between trading groups:
- Assurances Maghrebia, Cellcom, CIL, Office Plast, Essoukna, and STAR will move from group 12 (fixing) to group 11 (continu).
- Tunis Re and Wifak International Bank will move from group 11 (continu) to group 12 (fixing).
Market Segments Composition
The composition of the market segments will be as follows:
- Segment "A" will include 29 companies with a market capitalization of 200 Mtnd or more.
- Segment "B" will include 33 companies with a market capitalization of less than 200 Mtnd.
- Segment "S" (under surveillance) will include 13 companies that do not meet their financial information obligations or are affected by events that may disrupt their situation or compromise the proper functioning of the market.
Calculation of Market Capitalization
The market capitalization used to assign companies to segments "A" and "B" is the average daily capitalization between September 1, 2025, and November 30, 2025. For newly introduced values, the market capitalization is calculated based on the introduction price.
