Hotel du Lac de Tunis to be Renovated, Not Demolished
The Hotel du Lac de Tunis, known for its inverted pyramid architecture, will not be demolished. Closed for over 25 years, the hotel will be renovated and its surroundings revitalized. This decision was made during a meeting at the governorate of Tunis, in the presence of representatives from the Libyan Arab Foreign Investment Company, the hotel's owner.
The project plans to conserve the hotel's original form while modernizing its facilities. The surrounding area will also be developed with the construction of a commercial complex, leisure spaces, and tourist residences.
