GIZ Tunisia Launches Call for Expression of Interest for Industrial Enterprises

The GIZ Tunisia has launched a call for expression of interest targeting industrial enterprises operating in the textile, agri-food, and chemical sectors to help them calculate and reduce their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, as well as comply with international GHG accounting standards.

This initiative also aims to support these enterprises in accessing European markets.

Selected enterprises will benefit from personalized support in several key areas, including:

  • GHG emissions reporting, which will provide them with support to measure and declare their GHG emissions
  • Development of an action plan to reduce emissions, which will help them develop strategies to reduce their GHG emissions
  • Alignment of GHG accounting with international standards, which will assist them in meeting international standards for GHG accounting

This support is part of the "Qualitative Growth for Employment (CQE)" project, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union in Tunisia.

The project is being implemented by GIZ Tunisia in partnership with the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy.

Interested enterprises are invited to apply before September 23, 2024, via the following link: Apply here.
