Tunis Stock Exchange Announces Reclassification of Telnet Holding and Sanimed
According to the Tunis Stock Exchange (BVMT) announcement published on December 24, 2024, regarding the distribution of listed companies among sections and trading groups for the year 2025, and following a decision rendered by the judge-commissioner in charge of the insolvency procedure of Telnet Holding on January 6, 2025, the BVMT informs brokers and the public of the following measures:
Reclassification of Telnet Holding and Sanimed
- Telnet Holding and Sanimed will be reclassified from section "S" to section "B".
- Telnet's shares will be traded in group 11, while Sanimed's shares will be traded in group 12.
- These changes will take effect as of Monday, January 13, 2025.
The decision is in response to the request of the Financial Market Council (CMF) to take into account the judicial decision, which aims to preserve the management structure, activities, and jobs of the company while ensuring judicial supervision of its management.
