Provisional Reception of Rehabilitation Works at Thibar's Agricultural Vocational High School

On the occasion of the provisional reception of the rehabilitation works at Thibar's Agricultural Vocational High School, the Agency for Agricultural Extension and Training (AVFA) invited Ms. Jacqueline Groth, Head of German Cooperation at the German Embassy in Tunis, on Monday, April 29, 2024, in Thibar. The strategic committee for the creation of the new Centre of Competence for the Dairy Sector (CCFL) in Thibar was also represented at a high level by both public and private sectors.

Objective of the Visit

The objective of the visit was to assess the progress of the implementation of the CCFL in Thibar, to situate and contextualize its functioning and role in the professionalization of the dairy sector in Tunisia. This activity is part of the "Innovations for Agriculture and Agri-Food (IAAA)" project, which is part of the global project "Green Innovation Centers in the Agri-Food Sector", funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented jointly by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Agency for the Promotion of Agricultural Investments (APIA), mandated by the Ministry of Agriculture.
