Ksar Hellal Textile Company Overhauls Board and Opens Doors to Private Investors
The Ksar Hellal textile company held an emergency meeting on February 12, resulting in a completely renewed board of directors and a wide-open door for private investors.
This was no ordinary meeting that took place on February 12 in Ksar Hellal. The SITEX, an iconic textile industry company in the region, gathered its shareholders to make decisions that would shape its future. On the agenda: a complete overhaul of the board of directors and the opening of capital to new investors.
The six new administrators, appointed unanimously, are:
- Mohamed Touzi
- Ghazi Baaziz
- Sami Thabet
- TSB (represented by Mohamed Slim Bouderbela)
- Faten Guemri
- Mariano Judez
The latter name, with its foreign resonance, is particularly noteworthy, suggesting a willingness to open up to international opportunities.
The meeting also decided that:
- The number of administrators can be increased as Venture Capital Investment Companies (SICARs) enter the capital.
- Each SICAR, having conditioned its investment on obtaining a seat on the Board, will have its application examined on a case-by-case basis by a dedicated General Assembly.
