The Contract for Professional Integration (CIVP): A Gateway to Employment for Young Tunisian Graduates

The Contract for Professional Integration (CIVP) is a program implemented by the Tunisian government to help young graduates integrate into the job market. It is a subsidized employment contract that allows young people to acquire valuable professional experience in a company while receiving a monthly allowance.

Eligibility Criteria

The CIVP is open to young graduates of higher education or holders of a recognized BTS (Brevet de Technicien Supérieur) diploma, as well as individuals with disabilities, regardless of their educational background, who are looking for their first job.

However, individuals who have already worked for more than 24 months continuously or 36 months discontinuously after obtaining their last diploma are excluded from benefiting from this type of contract.

Contract Duration and Benefits

The CIVP contract has a duration of 12 months, renewable once for a maximum of 24 months.

The National Agency for Employment and Independent Work (ANETI) pays a monthly allowance to the trainee of:

  • 200 TND for holders of a higher education diploma or a recognized BTS diploma.
  • 150 TND for other levels.

Individuals with disabilities receive an additional monthly grant of 50 TND.

The host company also pays a complementary monthly allowance to the trainee of at least:

  • 200 TND for holders of a higher education diploma or a recognized BTS diploma.
  • 150 TND for other levels.

The trainee benefits from social coverage throughout the contract duration.

ANETI covers the cost of complementary training organized during the contract (up to 400 hours).

The company benefits from an exemption from employer's charges for CIVP trainees.

Conditions for Companies

All private sector companies and liberal professions can benefit from the CIVP.

The company must recruit at least 50% of the trainees who have completed their CIVP contract over the past three years.

How to Apply for the CIVP?

Young graduates interested in the CIVP should contact the National Agency for Employment and Independent Work (ANETI) (https://emploi.nat.tn/fo/Fr/global.php).

ANETI will then put the trainees in touch with companies seeking profiles matching their skills.
