Appointment of Yessine Friaa as CEO of the National Post Office
Yessine Friaa has been appointed as the President and CEO of the National Post Office, according to a decision by the Ministry of Communication Technologies, formalized by decree n° 2026-61 of April 27, 2026, published in the Official Journal of the Tunisian Republic (JORT). He succeeds Marouen Ben Slimene.
Biography of Yessine Friaa
Yessine Friaa is a computer engineer with extensive experience in the field of information technology. He has been working at the Tunisian Post since 2001, accumulating over 24 years of experience in the field. Currently, since June 2024, he has been holding the position of Project Manager in Artificial Intelligence within the establishment. He also possesses expertise in the Internet of Things (IoT) and computer system management. He is ITIL certified and specialized in IT services.
Academic Background
On the academic level, he graduated from the National School of Computer Science (ENSI), where he obtained a degree in computer engineering between 1998 and 2001. He then pursued his studies at SUP'Com, where he obtained a master's degree in telecommunications between 2002 and 2005. He also attended a preparatory class in mathematics, physics, and computer science at IPEIT between 1996 and 1998.
Teaching Experience
In parallel with his technical functions, he has also worked in higher education. He has been a teacher at the International University of Tunis, the Higher Institute of Documentation, ENSI, as well as the Higher Institute of Technological Studies in Communications of Tunis.

With this appointment, the Tunisian Post is entrusting its management to a profile from within the organization, with a long experience in the technical, academic, and managerial fields of the digital sector.
