ITIDA and Flat6Labs Launch InvestIT Program to Boost Egyptian Tech Startups
The Egyptian Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and Flat6Labs have launched the InvestIT program, designed to support Egyptian tech startups in the pre-seed or pre-Series A phase. This initiative provides access to consulting services, tools, and connections with investors to accelerate their growth and global competitiveness.
Managed by the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), a subsidiary of ITIDA, the program supports startups across several regions, stimulating innovation and growth in Egypt's digital economy. The program consists of two phases: customized training and workshops, followed by connections with local and international investors.
Hany El Sonbaty, founder of Flat6Labs, emphasized that the InvestIT program reinforces his company's commitment to supporting Egyptian entrepreneurs.
Over a period of six to eight months, the program will accompany 12 startups, offering personalized guidance to prepare them for investments, create data rooms, and get ready for meetings with investors.
