CrossCulture Scholarship Program Now Open for Applications until December 5, 2024
Are you passionate about politics, society, media, human rights, peace, and sustainable development? The CrossCulture scholarship program is perfect for you!
Organized by the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (Ifa), this program offers a 2-3 month collaboration opportunity with a host organization as part of an intercultural exchange.
Participants will have access to:
- Training sessions
- Workshops
- International networking opportunities
- Collaboration with a partner organization
- Workshops and training on various topics
- Networking opportunities with other participants and access to a global alumni network
In addition, participants will receive:
- Full coverage of travel, visa, and accommodation expenses
- A monthly stipend
To apply, follow these three simple steps:
- Select the appropriate call on the program's website in the "Call for Applications" section.
- Fill out the online application form and upload all required documents.
- Submit your application through the online portal.
Important: Make sure to have all your documents ready, as the system does not allow saving drafts. Incomplete applications, sent by email, or submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
Required documents for application include:
- An up-to-date English CV detailing your academic, professional, and volunteer experiences
- A letter of recommendation from your current organization or employer, preferably written by a supervisor, following the provided template
- A recent photo (optional)
The application period for 2025 runs from October 15 to December 5, 2024. Once your application is submitted, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your application. After the application period closes, pre-selected candidates will be invited for an interview.
Selected candidates will be informed by email in March/April 2025, and the program will take place from May to November 2025. Unsuccessful candidates will also be notified by email. Please note that Ifa does not provide justification for rejected applications.
