Tunisian Industrial Companies to Benefit from Support Program
Tunisian industrial companies are invited to benefit from a support program launched by the Technical Center for Mechanical and Electrical Industries (Cetime). The Center aims to accelerate their transition to more sustainable and innovative production models.
Key Sectors
According to a statement, four main sectors are concerned:
- Electronics
- Mechanics
- Automotive
- Electricity Through this initiative, Cetime aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Tunisian SMEs, particularly on international markets.
Objectives of the Support Program
The proposed support aims to help companies:
- Reduce their production costs
- Decrease their carbon footprint
- Improve their export performance It also aims to identify "structures ready to engage in a circular economy approach, optimize the use of their resources, and integrate more responsible industrial practices," according to the same source.
Application Deadline
The deadline for submitting applications is set for March 27, 2026.
Green Forward Industry Project
This program is part of the Green Forward Industry (GFI) project, funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
