Ministry of State Domains and Land Affairs Approves Land Transfer to Boost Employment and Regional Development

In the framework of promoting employment and regional development, the Ministry of State Domains and Land Affairs has approved the transfer of a 10-hectare state-owned land located in the Irtiyah 2 industrial zone, Jendouba.

This decision, made during the national consultative commission meeting on land operations, chaired by Minister of State Domains Mohamed Rekik on Thursday, August 15, 2024, will enable the expansion of an electrical component manufacturing plant for the automotive industry.

This expansion project is supported by experts in the field and is expected to generate over 4,000 jobs in the Jendouba region, contributing to the reduction of unemployment in the country's interior regions.

This initiative is part of the national policy aimed at accelerating the pace of investments and supporting regional development, in line with the decisions of the Higher Investment Council meeting held the previous day.
