Tunisia's Economy Sees Significant Financial Boost

At the end of September 2025, the Tunisian economy benefited from a substantial financial injection, thanks to the increase in transfers from Tunisians abroad and revenue generated by the tourism sector.

Key Figures

According to the latest figures from the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), remittances from Tunisians living abroad increased by 8.06%, reaching 6,485.9 million dinars, compared to 6,002.3 million dinars during the same period in 2024. This trend confirms the crucial role of Tunisians residing abroad in supporting the national economy.

Tourism Sector Recovery

In parallel, tourism revenue saw an 8.2% increase, rising to 6,264.3 million dinars, compared to 5,789.2 million dinars the previous year. This positive development testifies to a gradual recovery of the sector after the disruptions of recent years.

Combined Revenue Exceeds 12 Billion Dinars

The combined revenue from diaspora transfers and tourism exceeded 12 billion dinars as of September 30, 2025. This financial flow constitutes a significant lever for the country's balance of payments and a valuable support for national economic stability.
