Minister Stresses Importance of Uniting Local Efforts for Successful Regional Development Plans
The Minister of Economy and Planning, Samir Abdelhafidh, emphasized on Monday the importance of uniting the efforts of local actors, particularly elected councils and public authorities, to succeed in the new strategy for elaborating regional development plans.
During a meeting dedicated to supporting District Councils for the 2026-2030 plans, the Minister of Economy recalled that this stage marks an innovative vision for more balanced development. According to him, District Councils must have a global vision that aims to reduce inequalities between regions while proposing projects with a broader regional impact, benefiting the entire district beyond local borders.
