Strategic Planning Session for HackAccessibilité 2025

Following the success of HackAccessibilité 2024, a strategic planning session was held on October 6 to prepare for the actions of 2025. Organized by Gomarket and Hawkar as part of the Gomarket Entrepreneurial Days Series 2024, this event brought together participants and mentors to develop concrete actions in favor of accessibility and mobility for people with disabilities in Tunisia.

The meeting, held at the Tunisian Foundation for Development, aimed to build on the results of the hackathon and plan future initiatives. The discussions explored how entrepreneurship can overcome accessibility challenges and enable people with disabilities to contribute to change.

Khadija Jallouli, CEO of Hawkar, opened the session by highlighting the importance of understanding the legal framework for the rights of people with disabilities in Tunisia to develop solutions that conform to national policies. She encouraged participants to consider the legal impact of their projects.

Hayfa Ben Fraj, CEO of Gomarket, presented strategic tools such as PESTEL analysis (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environmental, and Legal), SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats), and SMART objectives (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-bound), adapted to help participants structure their ideas into action strategies.

She explained that these tools enable the transition from ideas to concrete results, setting realistic goals for the community of people with disabilities.

Nizar Somrani, CEO of Yakin Process, emphasized the importance of these tools for entrepreneurs with disabilities, allowing them to overcome specific challenges while influencing policies that affect their lives. Ahmad Zoghlami, CEO of Creative BD, clarified the differences between a Proof of Concept, a prototype, and a minimum viable product, providing concrete examples to transform ideas into solutions.

Also present were Abdelkader Abdelli, Ammar Ben Hamed, and Hassen Khethri, winners of the Social Innovation Award for their project Café Culturel Al Kalima, which aims to create an inclusive social space.

During the session, they used the strategic tools presented by Ben Fraj to propose ideas for expanding their café while advocating for better accessibility in public and cultural spaces, setting realistic and time-bound objectives to ensure concrete results.

At the end of the session, participants developed a roadmap for 2025, committing to create projects with a positive impact on laws and practices concerning people with disabilities. This one-year accompaniment by Gomarket and Hawkar will support the winners and other participants in realizing their projects, promoting a more inclusive society.
