The Board of Directors of Union Internationale de Banques (UIB) has made its decision. At its meeting on February 6, it appointed Pierre Le Run as the new General Manager of the bank, effective April 1, 2026.

Pierre Le Run has a career spanning over 22 years within the Société Générale group. He began his journey in 1997 at the General Inspection department, a rigorous training ground within French banking groups. Prior to this, he worked at KPMG Audit and the French Navy. His career has been marked by consistent growth in responsibilities, including:
- Commercial director roles in the Paris region and provinces
- A decisive international experience between 2007 and 2011, where he led the retail bank of NSGB in Egypt, a stint that now holds significant relevance
- Upon his return to France, he headed several agency groups before joining Société Générale Assurances for over six years, where he successively held the positions of:
- Director of Studies and International Development
- Director of Customer Relations for property and liability insurance
